About the quote

Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) is perhaps the greatest and most recognised polymath and genius. He is a leading example of a Renaissance Human, having a deeply inquisitive mind and an integrated mastery of many fields. He was far ahead of his time, envisioning designs for flying machines, submarines and many other devices four centuries before such inventions were realised. He studied numerous aspects of nature, including the flight of birds, the swimming of fish, and the anatomy and geometry of the human form, all of which he applied to his practice of painting. He also left many writings in his notebooks—including the quote shown here.

The poster is lovely with good quality paper and print. I am grateful that environmental factors were considered in the production and distribution of this art. The service was wonderful and the delivery was prompt and well packaged.
