Sól Déore [pronounced sole-dee-or-ray] means ‘Sun Stag’ in Old English and is a symbol of nature’s majesty.

We get it—the world is full of inauthentic people and exploitative agendas, overhyped fads and shallow distractions. There is much glitter and dust across the material, political, and spiritual domains. So we want to be honest. As a creative design and writing studio, we operate as a business that aims to provide excellent products that benefit our customers, and in doing so earn our livelihood. We also want to ground our work in authentic understanding—the kind that comes from deep enduring enquiry into human existence, nature, mathematics, and other substantive fields of knowledge. We’ve done the work, but we don’t pretend to have all the answers. By blending art with knowledge, we present open-ended experiences for immersion, self-reflection, and transformation.
How our customers apply the transformative gains from our products depends upon their unique circumstances. Principle Writer and Designer
Todd is the Founder and Principal Writer and Designer of Sól Déore, and Founder and Director of Genius Authoring, a professional document services business. He holds a PhD in English and First-class Honours in Art History. He is a member of the Australian Society for Technical Communication (ASTC). He has extensive experience as a writer, designer, entrepreneur, researcher, analyst, editor, and teacher across several industries.
Following the call to pursue his greater potential from an early age, Todd has dedicated his life to self-development and polymathic learning. As an experienced artist with a deep drive for entrepreneurial endeavours, an insatiable curiosity about the world, and a lifelong practice of meditation, he integrates creativity, logic, spirituality and pragmatism in the quest to actualise full human potential.
His work explores nature, human genius, geometry, language, and numerous other areas. And just as nature in its beauty and power encompasses all the world, so his work seeks to communicate open-ended perspectives that evoke our deeper human faculties for self-transformation. Behind this effort is the wish that humanity awakens a little wisdom.
